. . . are brought by little boys with dirty hands, bright eyes, and beaming smiles who, as they are searching for worms, happen upon a treasure- bright yellow "flowers!" The first person they think of? Mom. The gather up the beautiful flowers and run to the house as fast as their little legs can go. They proudly present her with their precious gift, giddy with anticipation to see her reaction. She turns and gasps with delight at the precious sight, not so much the flowers, but the sweet little boys holding them up to her with big, somewhat shy, smiles. They watch as she gently puts the flowers in a suitably sized "vase," fills it up with water and places it right by the sink where she's doing dishes, where she "will think of them every time she looks at her beautiful flowers." They get great big hugs and a "Thank you!" and they run off to play again, leaving a Mom with a smile on her face and tears in her eyes.
