Ben's 10th Birthday!

Ben had an awesome 10th birthday! On Sunday night, his cousin, Adam, slept over. They played and had fun for hours and then fell asleep downstairs. On Monday morning, we all piled in the van and went over to Gary's school and picked up snowshoeing supplies. We stopped at McDonald's for lunch and then headed up into the mountains. The boys all went sledding for a while and then everyone for their snowshoes on and went on a hike. It was so fun! After that, we took Adam home and went back to Gary's work to play and eat candy and launch a little hot air balloon.

Tuesday was Ben's actual birthday. I checked him out for lunch and we ate at Chuck-a-Rama. Spencer wasn't feeling well, so I checked him out too and Ben was so nice and said he could come with us. Then we went to the store and picked out some presents.

After school, we took everyone to Lowe's Extreme Airsports and had a blast. We got home just in time for the grandparents to get there for cake and ice cream.

It was such a fun weekend. We love Ben so much! he is so sweet and smart and creative. He makes us laugh and is so helpful. He does his job, reading, homework, and practicing every day without being asked. He has such a tender heart and notices things that others don't. Right now, he is reading The New Testament. He is such a good boy and works so hard. We love you, Ben!

Happy Birthday!!
